Tiffany Colston

Owner / Founder

Tiffany is a Nashua, NH based musical butterfly whose journey blossomed after graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with a major in Music Business in 2010.

During her college years, she embraced the opportunity to share the stage with many greats such as Earth Wind and Fire, Phillip Bailey, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and many more. These experiences have given her the elite tools to not only teach voice, dance, theatre, acting, piano, and performance to hundreds on the East Coast over the past 10 years, but as a mentor as well.

Her intense passion for the performing arts and entertainment industry took off while she began teaching music, dance, theatre, voice, and piano at the Musical Arts Academy in Dover, North Hampton, and Exeter. She would later purchase the Dover Musical Arts as an inspiration to hundreds of beautiful souls in Massachusetts and New Hampshire shortly after signing a record deal. This incredible experience allowed her to bolt off her dreams and then emerge Tiffany Colston Studios. She has now achieved helping to get her own students into her old stomping ground, Berklee College of Music!! She continues to help students prepare for college and beyond. Other students of hers have gone on to receive scholarships from highly acclaimed AMDA, and New York Conservatory. She has had the wonderful opportunity to travel and perform in countries such as Switzerland, Serbia, Canada, and many more stages across the world. She also landed her first major lead acting role at the Seacoast Rep in August/September 2020 as the hilarious, big personality, Katrina, in “The Bus Stop”. As the comedy of the show in this beautifully written piece by Najee Brown, she wowed NH on a different kind of stage for the first time.

Tiffany takes much pride and joy in Tiffany Colston Studios. It is an international performing arts institution molded for the more serious student looking to embark on an industry-based career. As an active artist/entertainer/actress/teacher/mentor/speaker internationally she continues to inspire and embark in her career while being the best mom to her lovely and talented daughter, Myla Colston-Ballard.

Melo Gía

Master Vocal Instructor

Melo Gía (Patricia Lewis Román) is a professional singer and songwriter born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico on August 31st 1987. Melo Gía began her musical journey playing violin and singing in a children's choir for the Puerto Rico Music Conservatory from the age of 7 until she was 17. Even though she loved classical music, the contemporary music culture called strongly, driving her to win a scholarship and study in the very prestigious music school, Berklee College of Music in Boston. It wasn't until she finished Berklee and moved back to Puerto Rico, that she picked up the guitar. Her skills as a violinist gave her the ability to quickly pick up on the guitar and begin to compose.

After attending Berklee "Melo Gía" returned to Puerto Rico and continued her journey as a professional singer. Amongst her collaborations, she traveled the world singing for international Reggae band "Cultura Profética" (translated to Prophetic Culture); One of the biggest reggae bands in Latin America. In 2017 she appeared and performed in one of John Travolta’s latest movies “Speed Kills”. She has performed with Latin Grammy Winner Cristian Castro at the 2020 Univision Youth Awards, opened for Grammy Nominated Danny Rivera, and Latin Grammy Winner Singer/songwriter, Pedro Capo.

Daughter to Puerto Rican mother and African-American father from Philadelphia, Melo Gía has set off on a journey of putting together a musical style that best describes who she is down to her latin and African-American Roots. Sung in three languages due to her versatility, "Bohemian Soul" is a fresh new sound painted in a canvas with all the colors of her Latin and African-American musical influences. A perfect mix of soul, jazz, reggae,  bossa nova, latin pop and bohemian balads. The list goes on and on. Without leaving aside the fact that “Melo Gía” has always been first and foremost a vocalist before she ever became a composer. Her clean, melodic voice, broad vocal register and the ability to translate emotion into song through heartfelt stories, leaves no doubt as to why people call her "Melo Gía" (Melody).
